Hope everyone’s summer is getting off to a great start, haven’t blogged lately and just wanted to do a quick update! I have just started a highly anticipated internship with SMB Capital at their headquarters in New York City. I just completed my first week, and can already tell this is going to be a great summer. Ever since I started to trade equities , I have always longed to have days where I could do nothing but watch the markets from open to close without interruptions. This wasn’t possible because of internships and finishing up an EE degree. Now, I not only get to enjoy this freedom, but I’m doing it within a prop firm alongside professionals and recent trainees! So I will continue to update this blog with the trades I am making implementing SMB’s style as well as, putting more charts up. I also recommend checking out SMB’s own blog for a great resource of free information.

Made a quick play in OPMG, recently the pumps in the OTC have been taking off. It sold of in the morning after a small gap and I saw the bid holding at .035 so I got long with a stop at yesterdays close. Didn’t hold so I got out, was too early on the bounce play, but with these pumps you have to respect your stop so you don’t get stuck with the bag.
Quick update on JAMN, it has officially broken out. The shake out last Friday spooked longs and brought in some early shorts on the sharp dip to $2.80. Today it had an impressive squeeze into the close, bringing other coffee pumps (JCOF BCCI) some love . This one is sure to be in play tomorrow and the next coming days, so keep an eye on it, and don’t get caught in the squeezeee!
Traded JAMN today. Got long some at the high end of the consolidation range today at 3.19. This thing has been consolidating right below all time highs, thought it was worth 10 cents to play the breakout. Continued sideways all day and I didn’t want to hold overnight so I sold before the bell. Will keep on eye on it tomorrow…
